CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

Postby zetec69 on Thu Jul 26, 2001 12:04 pm

I have an EFi XR3i and the top end is bolloxed. I need to know if my top end is the same as a top end on just a boggo carbed 1600CVH? Can I use the top end off a boggo and keep the EFi? Advice needed....... :???:

U need an injection head or early carbed head, as the later carb heads(post `85) are of the lean burn type.. Whats up with it, a mate has an efi escort head at work gathering dust. Its a bit manky though!!, but I can strip it for inspection and bring it upto the Ford Fair if u want.(may even clean it up if I get some spare time at work).

Cheers for the help snake. Has your mates EFi head still got the cam etc still in it? If so how much would he be looking for it? I would prefer to pick it up some time this weekend if possible. Let me know. Cheers. Brad

Its got everything, he only had the bottom end off it. I never heard it running though. I`ll ask him how much he wants and have a quick look at it.
