Got a race spec XR2i box up for grabs. Needs a bit of attention (worn mainshaft bearing) but I can get it rebuilt for you.

James (jjw@cwcom.net)

Hello all,

Can any one offer me a decent engine + gear box. I am pretty much skint at the moment so a £5'000 400bhp Cossie couldn't be considered unfortunately! But if any one has got an older zetec / late CVH engine they have upgraded from then pls reply as I can't stand going up hills at about 30 mph any more!! The current engine is a 1.1 OHV or whatever they're called!!

Cheers, Rob.

[Edited by Robz_Fester (29-11-2000 at 01:29 AM).]

Yes, it will mate to a Zetec no problem. Mike Gurney is using his FRST box on his 2.1 16V engine in his FRST, no problem.

It's yours for £50 as is (easy repair) or I can get it rebuilt if we settle on a price (fully rebuilt, all new bits inside, as new, etc?).

Email me! jjw@cwcom.net
