Engine mods on a 1.1 1990 HCS

Ok wot can i do to me engine ? I have made one mod which is a K&N air filter element instead of the crappy papper/foam one - fives me an extra 5 - 6 bhp they claim taking me up to a stonking 56 - 60 i think :grin: . More power needed new engine not gonna be around for a while.

Gas flowed
Lightened and balanced flywheel
Full engine balance

on my 1.1 hcs

I can get 110mph out of mine :smile:

Here's a bit of DIY you could get some practice in on, since spare 1.1 heads cost buttons. Yep - port & polish!
