Engine mods

Postby BigBaldyGeordie on Sun Nov 03, 2002 10:40 pm

Ok thanks for the advice previously, had my arches rolled ready for 17's next week and a set of H&R coilcovers fitted by Revolution in Newcastle.

The exterior is pretty much standard apart from clear rears and indicators but i was looking at sorting the engine before I start any more serious moddin' anyways.

So....... since its a 1.6 8v Xr2i do I try and sorce a rst lump and box or go for another xr2i lump in better nick since the one in the car i bought has done 105k (I got the car for 250 notes and theres not a spot of rust btw)

What do you think? any ideas or advice is always appriciated, ohh I've just had a full stainless magnex system fitted so not sure if that would work with the RST lump, forgive my ignorance :D

Plans for the future? mk4 rear, f50 bonnet and an ESP bigbore front
