i anit sure on this , i anit drivin my fez on the roads but when me mumm does some times it just keeps racing, reving the bolocks of its self, recons that it only does it when its low on petrol but this shouldnt cause a problem, anybody got any ideas on what is causeing this?

im guessing its a 1.1 Cfi - this is a common problem.


can be either the throttle position sensor or the idle speed control valve usually.

ah yeah sorry its a 1.1 cfi, these bits cheap to replace?

TPS, apparently from ford they are v expensive, been told about £50, dont know how true that is though.
i always had success with just cleaning it and the rest of the carb, and checking the plug connections.
