Postby Karateguy3410 on Thu Dec 14, 2006 11:42 am

Right basically i have a fiesta 1.1 mark 3. Its total s**t lol wont go anywhere. Iv heard that you can drop a 2.0 mondeo engine into this. I know its a lot of work and blah blah blah but can anyone tell me if theyve ever heard of it? Its no problem getting it all i just wanted some help like loom diagrams and any common problems.
Cheers

First, check insurance. You will need to be atleast 19. Secondly, it will cost at least £600 to do. This is something you can do yourself, but you will need to have a bit of mechanical knowledge and remember, its an old car so lots of bits are difficult to get undone.

Just because I keep talking about definetly doing it doesn't mean I'm actualy going to do it.

Premium knob jockey, ignorance is not an excuse.

In all honesty the 1.1 is probably too powerfull for you. Just because you can plant it in a straight line doesn't mean its slow.

This isnt ignorance, it's being a complete c0ck sucker with no regard for the law, as so plainly explained by this comment.

We do help people, but when we get a 17 something year old on here telling us how hes planing to put a large engine into his car and not insure it properly, being a greater risk to other road users, and putting up everyone elses insurance prices then we are bound to be hostile towards you. This site is for car enthusiast who take care and pride in their cars, mostly drive properly but also insure theyr cars fully. If you want a forum that will think your cool for not insuring your car properly, join the max power one, theyll think your 'wicked'.
