As a bare minimum you WILL need:
Engine inc Zetec alt and, wherever possible, starter motor
Loom inc TPS, MAF, lambda probe
ECU
Inlet manifold with all sensors and throttle body
Exhaust manifold, downpipe and full system
Radiator
Top hose
Thermostat to heater matrix hose
Heater matrix to bottom-hose hose
Rear RHS engine mount (you can run the Zetec without the front mount)
Air cleaner assembly/filter

dont do it! well if u must but be prepared to buy lots of stuff, i get everythg trade but it still cost me hundreds more than i planend and i have been planning for some time,
if u can id rather have the proper car e.g. si or xr2i 16, it will be simpler and probly cost less in the long run.

indeed it does cost a lot
i changed me 1.1 to turbo
if u want a change the better option for you would be to put a turbo engine in ures

thankyou for your replies peeps much appreciated
its pretty much what id thought, and the money is the problem (as usual lol)
id been thinking about doing the turbo conversion anyway, everything else is 99% sound on this car so i think ill look at the turbo route, and splash a load of money on the bodywork.
Does anyone know if specialised engines 1.6 and 1.9 engines are good for turbo's ?
or i might see if i can find a good condition turbo unit as a complete replacement.
any cheers lads, any info on the turbo route would be grate.
