Engine Transplant

I have a 1994, L reg, Ford Fiesta, Mk3 (Equipe Edition) and I want to uprate the engine. Does anyone know what engines would fit into this car?

Can you even list all the engines that would fit into the car? It would help a lot.

Plus offer any advise on what I need to do in terms of upgrading the gear box and bushes etc.
