hi people, im after a putting a new engine in my si, as its just a 1.4 cvh si engine, im after something abit newer but its my run about car so dont want it to juicy, so gotta be cheapish on fuel but still abit pokey when i put my foot down and must be a direct swap!!

wots the zetec s engine like?

the zetec s engine is deffo not a direct swap. youll be looking for a 1.6 cvh engine.

how juicy is a rst lump? if you keep them off boost, are they that bad or can they be ok as my 1.4 is quite bad for the power it gives out, i kinda want abit more poke but dont really wanna go 2 litre
