just wondering if it would be possible to make a mk3 independent rear suspension. ive been trying to work it out for my self and thought it would need to be an a subframe. just wondering if its possible

Yes it can be done with a custom made inderpendent link kit, mounting points and other modification but would it be worth it?

Yes mate, it's not as difficult as it may sound. The only real bummer is the fact you would probably need custom rear shocks.

i did a uni project on it and found there was few diff ways that it could be done!

easiest is like scort has done and use mondeo or rs2000 items.

scort, how is the ka comming along? aint had any progress reports in months and really wanna see how it is comming along!

xrsi, Pretty bloody slowly at the moment mate! :lol: Had soo much work on it's unreal. Not had time to scratch my ass. Got a week where I've not booked anything in though next month, so I'm hoping to crack on and get most of it sorted, certainly the fabrication of the floor and propshaft. At least it will be in one piece! :D

glad jobs are comming in thick and fast, seems like you are doing really well considering you have just started out :D good on you chap! :D

keep us posted on the ka when you get the time to do something on it tho s it realy is going to be an animal.
