Was on the hunt for one of these for bloody ages and travelled up and down the country looking so bought this one to go to town on getting up to my standards and low and behold my cousin has come up with another ford which I would be mad not to take, I'm in no major rush to sell as I'm now using it as a daily but just a handful of these GTi estates left now and has already become one of fords limited edition batch with only 50ish still in existance in total, just take a look around on ebay/gumtree/pistonheads etc and see how many other GTi estates you find as my guess is none, I only saw one other GTi est at ford fair this year and saw more rs500s and st200 saloons and racing pumas, rather than glossing over the pros and cons of a car I list it walts and all, this is a true affordable future classic which even my insurer agrees and he should know

Genuine GTi estate even has it stated on the V5 too 1.8 zetec, just put 6 months tax on it !

will need usual wishbones and discs in the future but not bad as it drives and stops very well indeed, spend £80 on parts and its sorted if that fussed, has a advisory on last mot about lower part of rear n/s arch around bodykit where it meets sill corroding so no doubt needs a plate etc or some re fabrication, upper arches are very good on both sides, few age related stone chips/dinks as you would expect of any 13 year old car
saggy headlining in places at rear (dead common)
2 cracks in rear bumper (easy fix) but I also have brand new bumper I will throw in FREE if required for peace of mind

but saying that look how good the car looks and for someone to either drive as a winter daily hack or finish off to a decent standard you will be happy regardless, the photos were only raken 2 weeks ago too

these cars in top condition are starting knock on the door of £2000 due to its rarity factor, I'm sure this car is worth £900 all day long as it sits as its above average on spec and would break easy for good money so its a win win situation
