et40s are good news, as they will sit further in and allow you to use spacers to move them out if needs be.

40 will hit the calipers with most wheels. ET35 is the one to go for.

I'm going for two sets of alloys. Ones to have fit with road legal tyres and the other set with slicks for TrackDays.

For trackdays I'm going for cheap alloys... any 7x15 pug alloys would fit? what ET does the pug 205 1.9GTi alloys have?!

1.9 205 gti wheel will fit as pcd is 4 x 108 on all but offset is ET16 so will stick out miles. if you want cheap 15 go for escort rs turbo wheels with the slicks on. same pcd and offset. result!

Don't go for Pug alloys,

I spent ages at a local wheel dealer working out what offsets and that would work so that I could fit my 15" wheels on with 195/50R15 tyres and eventually got it right (had alot of problems with the tyres rubbing against the bottoms of my coilovers).

I can't remember what we went for exactly in the end, but I've got my old wheels in the new wheel boxes in the shed, I'll go and have a look to see what I used - I've got cossie brakes on the front and rs2000 discs on the back.

The Pug alloy offset stuck the wheel out of the RS Turbo arch moulding by around an inch! :o

Cheers,

Andy
