you can make any back box fit if ur handy with metal and poss a welder, depends [ERRR] u wanna go for, for me powerflow is well overpriced for the quality that ive seen,

if i was u would just pick up a back box off here and get someone to make it fit lol

making a 1.1 too noisy just too nova for my liking

have u still got standard air box?

if so the warm air feed part comes off and make a little noise, and if u drill lots of holes make quite a bit of noise, the beauty of this is u will get loads of noise on full throttle a little noise on part throttle and and sound normal if u drive like a granny,

and its free

To hide the sound of my tappets from my 1.1i, i did the old xr2 k&n buying and stuck that on there, with a nice back box on, it sounded beefy for it was

Took the k&n off when i sold my fiesta well over a year ago, dad chucked all me old fiesta bits from the garage weeks ago, would of said you could have that if u liked, didn't really think about it though

Mate of mine has a 1.1 and he put a Peco big bore 4 rear box on. Fitted first time. It's not too noisey as its only a 1.1 but it does have a nice
deep but suttle bellow that hides the tappet noise well.

They're nt expensive either. 80 quid odd?

i got a rage on my 1.1 mk3, single dtm style.

sounds the Bic™ when you rev it up from tickover, and makes a nice deep bellowing sound when decellerating.

Also i ajdusted my tappets(reallly is a piecce of piss).

Then im going to get a k&n bolt on or something, wil the xr2 one fit my 1.1 mark 3 cfi engine fiesta?

(the standard airbox holds on by three longish screws in a trianglar pattern
:)

I wouldnt buy a peco or powerflow is it? for a 1.1, from what i heard they sound s**t.

Mines probably the best ive ever heard, i only paid £20 for it second hand. So all the baffles had been proper blown about in it by some boy racer , so it sounds ace :D

my powerflow sounds fine...shame the rest of the exhaust sounds crap and rattly

just get any backbox apart from maybe a peco..and if it aint loud enough then simply get a straight through intermediate pipe....job done...

get a long life exhaust, they can set how loud or quiet you want the exhaust, give you a life time gurantee and are strong as anything i hit my exhaust every day for about 7 months and no dents or nothing, they want like 150 but i talked them down to 80 haha ;) but you can aways get a deal ;)

ignore the boot its bein smoothed as we speak haha, thats a 4" straight cut ;)

dont get one thats too loud and you'll be fine....you can hear mine on the motorway but it not at a frustrating level...then again my sound system drowns out any noise it is making but it not that loud anyways...didn't want to drive a 1.1 trying to sound like a 2litre...just wanted the deep note....and of course the looks :)

i was in the same situation as you , so i had to buy the 5" (i know a bit to big for a 1.1) for my car and it looks good and makes a nice deep sound when it hits 3000 rpm !

These pics are well old though)
