Postby Matt L on Fri Dec 26, 2003 10:30 pm

Im confused :-? I used to have a 1.1 fezz (mk3) untill i droped a 1.6 xr2 engine in it. Now i need to know what exhaust i need? I am looking at a full ashley system inc manifold (want it as loud as poss). Do i need to get it for an xr2? If i do will this fit my mk3 shell as xr2 have mk2 bodies????

I was planning similar things...I have a diesel Mk3 and was going to put a turbodiesel engine in. My plan was going to be to use the original manifold and downpipe, then mate that up to an XR2i or FRST system. So I guess you could use the Ashley manifold, then maybe weld that up to an XR2i/RST centre/rear section :)

im running an Ashley 4-2-1 system on my 1.6s and its plenty loud enough, certainly not the loudest but just right if u ask me!

The exhust will need to be from a mk3 fezzy, because the xr2 floor plan is different (the manifold is the only bit of the exhust that will be the same)
