not a chance 130 unless u run twin webers, these engines only put out 95bhp on a good day on standard trim, dont get 35bhp from those mods on an n/a engine, pre 1985 lumps are better, propper cvh heads.

As a guide, Dave Moore's (PF Dave) old XR spec was:

Fully Rebuilt Engine with RS Turbo big end and main bearings, Overbored 1mm = approx 1644cc, Newman Phase 3 cam with Solid Lifters, Kent Adjustable Vernier, Stage 2 Big Valve Head (43.43mm inlet valves and 38.10 exhaust valves), bronze valve guides, multi-angle cut valve seats, Skimmed 20 thou of an inch, Magnex four branch manifold and system (wrapped in heat wrap), Facet Silver Top Competition fuel pump, Filter King (FPR), Weber twin 40 DCOEs, Magnecor 8.5mm Race Leads. Lightened Flywheel, Limited Slip Differential from a Series One ERST, LUK Low Lift Clutch, reconditioned closer geared - gearbox with 4:1 final drive ratio.

And was putting out 116bhp @ wheels = 134bhp @ flywheel

his new setup is:
Fully Rebuilt 1600 CVH Block, Line bored, Overbored 0.5mm, RS Turbo big end and main bearings, Lightened and balanced crank, Farndon H section Steel rods, ARP 2000 bolts, Cast ceramic coated Pistons with removed piston skirt, valve pockets and gudgeon pin inserted allowing fully floating movement, Baffled sump

Fully worked head, including Sodium filled big valves, full porting, multi angle valve seats, balanced chambers, Newman Phase X race cam with Newman solid lifters and double valve springs, Kent vernier pulley.

Weber twin 45 carbs, enlarged inlet manifold

Magnex S/S four branch manifold and system

and is putting out 132bhp @ wheels without gas = 155bhp @ flywheel.
