Explain offset

CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

Will someone explain offset to me

Offset is not how wide the wheel is, but how far it hangs over the hub, if u see wot I mean! <IMG SRC="http://www.v8fiesta.co.uk/ubb/smilies/biggrin.gif">

Offset is the distance from the exact centre of the wheel to the inside face of the hub - spacers will decrease offset (I think), while machining the hub face down will inrcease offset.<br><br>Usually measured in mm, try to keep them as close a possible to avoid funny handling, at least at the front.
