There fees are a joke, and people wonder why the place is full of scammers and morons.

I recently sold my runabout for £425 on there and they tried to hit me for £63... as im out of work i thought sod that.. i swore the last time i sold a car for like double that amount i only got charged £4 listin fee and like £22 final price.. i believe listing fee for a car is around £8 mark.. cancelled my card and my ebay account so they couldnt take no money from me. tugger. :x

would it be worth mailing egay and asking them where they plucked these ludicrous figures out of the air from? Just seems a bit steep if you ask me. I might as well just f*cking send them a picture of me with my trousers down and just say thanks for e-rap1ng me!!!

tuggers :x

I think the best thing to do when selling a car on Ebay is to do cash on collection privately, and just end your auction early, thats what I done with my old XR2i.

Fees are around 10%, and you lose another 3.4% iirc when someone pays you by paypal. It's slightly better now that you can list at 99p with no fees.
