False Floor Build.

Postby Zak on Mon Dec 03, 2007 7:18 pm

I want to build a false floor on the rear of my car as a base to build my sound system on, but i'm a little lost.

Whats the best way to create a template to cut out the wood to the shape of my floor?

lol take no notice of the speakers, they were a joke.

are you putting the false floor all the way? I cut my MDF using my old boot carpet as a template...

try using the carpet for the boot part and trimming some cardboard til it fits for the forward parts.

And if you are doing the build over where the backseats were too.

Use the bottom of the rear bench as a template :)

Where have they gone?

I know they aren't in the car.

Did you give them away or something?

I think he means get a big sheet of cardboard and cut it to shape, then use this as a template.
