Fan on Intercooler

Postby Mint_FRST on Fri Oct 01, 2004 10:06 am

Is it worth putting a fan on my intercooler?

I dont see many RS's with them so i was wondering if there was a particular reason?

Cheers :D

Maybe because it will only get in the way and therefore obstruct air flow?

The only time it would be do more good than harm would be in traffic when things are warming up, but in that situation what good is a uber cold air charge anyhow :-?

Intercoolers arent like a water radiators. As soon as you start moving the cool air whill cool the charge going through the IC straight away.

So all in all totally pointless mate :Q

p.s. nice engine bay!
