I have had a few days trial of a new clutch, the ALCON 6 Paddle Clutch (Thanks Mike Rainbird)

After having 4 paddle clutches and them only lasting 6000 miles i got fed up of replacing it.

For those of us that have used/have the 4 paddle from AP they know that even though its great for launching it and quick gear changes it just doesn't excel in traffic and can feel a little heavy.

THE 6 Paddle clutch is a PERFECT replacement, so far i've had no power issues with it from slipping or problems, will let you know if i do. But the feel of it is SOO much better than the 4 paddle, its so light, yet when biting you can feel it gets heavy just enough. I traffic you can slip it and drive slow like a standard clutch, plus on launches you can drop it like a 4 paddle and it goes.

If anyone is replacing a clutch in their Zetec Turbo/FRST/ERST or the alike, the Alcon 6 paddle clutch is a much better route to take, slightly more expensive, but worth it!!!
