i am fitting mine to day, i have swapped the shocks over but the suspention doesnt seem to want to go in the cast iron clamp (the one that holds the brake disks as well )

is there a srecial way of putting it back in?

Try spraying sum grease or just sum kind of lubrication in the clamp thingy. Maybe theres sum rust in the hole???

there is a secret way, its called a lump hammer!
how did u get it off in the first place? (usally have to use a hammer)

tried greaseing it and it still wont go in :(

when i took the ols damper off i just kicked the disk brake and it came off easy.

will try mr lump hammer later :wink: it is expensive suspention (h&r) so i dont want 2 damage it

Jack underneath the ball joint with the bottom of the shock in the top of the hole. Raise the jack a few mm at a time and keep shaking the shock back and forward (be careful not to pull the car off the axle stands). Eventually it will go home. You might find the shock goes too deep into the hole - a large rubber mallet or the sole of your boot (with foot still attached) will help to move it around.
