FAO anyone who has fitted cossie brakes to their FRST

CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

I've ordered a set of cossie calipers, discs and pads today to fit to my FRST but I gather you need some longer bolts to enable the calipers to be spaced by 5mm from the hub (due to the discs being thicker)
question is, where do I get the 5mm longer bolts from? have any other fords got longer bolts? that way I can go see Mr. ford and buy them.... please help!! URGENT!!

Try a decent local car parts shop, as they should have a selection of loose nuts and bolts. I would recommend getting high tensile bolts if possible - I think they have 10.2 on the head rather than 8.8 do not use stainless steel bolts as they are not strong enough.

Ermm, never told me insurance company about them...maybe i should, they should give me a F-U-C-K-I-N-G discount for my car being able to stop quicker!

Cost be just under 190 quid including fitting to get it done, and the discs look massive!
