Someone uninstalled the isdn modem to fit a broadband router, but didnt stop the RAS service first :rolleyes: so it kinda messed up :lol:

Didnt stop the RAS service? shouldent he have just turned the machine off full stop ?

No what happened was when the bloke removed the isdn modem, the server co<ked up, you couldnt open IE properties or get into the connections tab, kept giving a RAS error. But it wouldnt let you into the ras settings either. Found out on the ms knowledge that the ras service should have been stopped when the modem was removed.
