Mate, its all been a misunderstanding. Shacky got the wrong end of the stick and accused someone of messing him about, when in actual fact you have genuine reasons for him not having the parts etc. This is a very rare occurrance to have such conflict on FT, so dont be put off by it. Just be aware in future of who you are buying and selling from, make sure they know everything that is going on!

cheers guys, was starting to pi$$ me off i have to say but im a fairly laid back guy, would be different if he was stood in front of me as i would just of knocked him out but the thing that really bothered me the most, was regular guys that use the site as much as me, thinking that i had turned into some sort of c**t because of this, i use this site all the time, to buy, sell, give and take advice etc and for a moment i felt like i was gunna be banned or thought of badly and as a result have to stop using the site.

I have a mate who has paid for shocks, springs, brakes etc from a zr160 about a month ago. Over £200's worth of stuff and he hasnt had it posted yet, or been able to collect it from the bloke.

He supposedly runs a business as well!

To be honest, I don't think people really believed that you would scam anyone or anything. Like you say, you've been on this site a fair while, you've posted a lot and I've never seen you have any disagreements with anyone and you've always seemed to me like an alright bloke

Admittedly, when the screen shot came through from Shacky, I was surprised, I was thinking it was going to be some other jay(something), but when reading it, it didn't seem conclusive at all. Like someone said (or may have been you), it looked like you'd given him a price, but hadn't actually arranged anything.

Least it's sorted now though, and if anyone's read the start of this post, I'm sure they'll read the end at some point (if they haven't already) and everyone'll know you haven't done anything wrong

its clear its not your fault at all mate,
dont get worked up about it, no one apart from shacky has stated you were ripping him off, everyone else inc my self agreed that he must of been scammed, as i was being PM'ed etc wrongly, but now we all know the score, it seems shacky got his wired crossed and doesn't like to wait very long without contact, you have to see his point there, BUT to him the contact he WAS getting was from me saying i dunno what ya on about so thats prob got his back up, dont sweat it, send him the bits and shut him up or if ya really want send his money back and in the nicest possable way tell him to shove it, up to you mate but this has been a BIG mis understanding, had shacky taken a different way like asking what i ment but "dunno what ya on about" or what ever this could of been sorted via PM's or something.

I think you should get a nice public apology from Shacky to say the least.

I also think that this whole thread should be deleted as the problem is sorted and I don't think it's a good advert for the site if people look through it!! Especially as personal details are included.
