Fast?

Hey, could someone please tell me what the small ways of increasing my car's performance are? ie induction kits, and cams etc. And how much do they cost?

Which ones give noticable difference to acceleration/speed, and which should I avoid bothering with?

I drive a MK4 Fiesta encore, from 1995, and it's a 1.3 engine.

This has been covered a billion times before, and as such, it now warrants a hard and fast response.

No. Nothing at all. Its a HCS based 1.3, it will never be faster without MAJOR expense.

A air filter (Not a induction kit), will make it sound nicer, same with a backbox, but thats about it. No performance increase at all really.

well try getting a new injector set or injector if its single point that should give you a little hike in straight line speed but not really noticable

Save up [for insurance!] and get a 2L dropped in - that's my plan in a couple of years time... :-) And yes, I'm on a 1.3 :)
Do not underestimate the power of a 1.3 - It's low enough already :-P
