hi all, just wondered whats the best choice in terms of BHP in terms of air filters for my mk3 1.1L..
like inductions/different makes of filters or whatever.

also, iv looked on ebay and a few websites and cannot find a full exhaust system for my car. do they do them for a car as s**t as mine?
thanks

i dont think you'll be lucky enough to see 1 hp from a bolt on K&N filter, due to its postioning on top of the engine it will suffer from a lot of heat soak when the engine is warm, mainly in the summer. it'll sound nice on throttle, but if all you want is sound there is a guide i think on this site on how to drill your airbox which is a free easy 20 mintue task. an 'induction kit' probably wont fit onto your car. as for your exhaust system you mite have to go custom if you really want one, and, unless you are caplable of welding or know of someone who is etc it might cost you a fair bit of ££ to get one fitted. hope this helps

For a 1.oL mate i would save your money you could spend £200 on the engine and a standard 1.4 would wip your ass at the lights i would just make it look a nice all round car with out looking OTT and a nice sound till you can get a 2.0L or turbo power
