hi guys, wicked site

ok so ive got a fez, mk3 1.1 on an m reg and i wanna better sound from my car i aint bothered about performance, just summat that might cover the sound of the bloody engine lol

any help would be great cheers lads

Drill the bottom half of your airbox and take off the long air intake/silencer to give you more of an induction noise and stick a peco big bore 4 on to give you more noise which are around £90.

jack the car up and unbolt the maifold from the cat and seperate them. start it up and u have a v8 :lol:
At least i dont drive a saxo!!

Id drill holes around the edge, And remove the pipe.

Ah! Wow! Im german thats why I dont know the words! They had better teach us in carparts :D ! My Pipes are all empty, if you know, what I mean and its extreme loud!

To be honest even if you put a loud exhaust on it, it will still sound pretty bad

They just dont make a deep, throaty noise like larger engines.

My mate used to have a 1.0L fiesta and it sounded pretty deep with a PECO BB4 :bonkers:

to make the engine sound quieter you could change the tappets. an easy job. costs a bit tho to get the parts from ford. my engine runs a hell of alot quieter now. no knocking or anything :D
