hi..
just need to no what parts i need to take my 1.8 ztec out off my escort mk5 saloon and put into the fiesta 1.1 mk3 ...the escort is l reg also has the chip key..if anyone no's anything from what bits i need also hints n tips would be great...the fiesta is a 5 speed..no chip key..thanks everyone

im doing somehtign similar ritght now, i can tell you for the 1.8 escort engine (what im using funny enough) you need the front PAS and alternator braket from a fiesta 1.6 si
if you want to keep your cat and minimal exhaust work, you will need a rs1800 or xr2i exhaust manifold and downpipe (but mainly the downpipe is needed)
the front and rear mounts from a fez si 1.6
fez 1.6 si engine loom
preferably a fez si 1.6 gearbox and driveshafts too

hi ok cheers..im goin to run it on the 1.1 drive shafts 4 a bit as i dnt have much to spend..n ye i just got a xr2i rad and pipies. think ill get the loom n mounts next cheers...do you have fotos of yours??

Is your 1.1 cfi? If so you also need the injector relay changing. You may also need 2 change 1 of the temp sensor's. I used the down pipe from a escort but i dont hav a cat on mine? I also used the engine mount from a mk7 escort which fitted fine. Bit easier to find aswell. You will also need 2 metal plate for between engine and gear box from an si i think. You will hav the wrong 1.

nice 1 m8...think it is the cfi 1..and wich mount is it that u used frm mk7 escort???

I used the engine mount. From a Zetec 1.6 mk7 escort. The mount next to the top off the suspension on the driver's side

I would stick 2 using the si down pipe turnin out 2 be a bit of a hassles using the escort 1
