Anyone had done this or had experience of it? Can it be done, is it a costly job?

I've never seen or heard of this being done. Maybe because the Zetec-S is a very new engine and car.

I can't see why not. Mk4s have 1.25 and 1.4 litre Zetec SE engines. And the 1.6 litre Zetec S is basically the same.

Search the forum @ http://www.zetecs.com. Maybe you'll find the answer there.

I think Pumaspeed would be able to do that conversion for around 1k, but follow Mr. Chumkilas advice and do a search on that site.

Cheers. Will keep you posted if my bonus proves good in a month! Rest of the car is pretty well sorted, just need engine and mild interior mods.
