Fiesta 2.0 lx sleeper
fiesta-2-0-lx-project-vt181709/
This is a reluctant sale but it is rarely used and a shame to leave it sitting outside.
Car
Fiesta 1.1 lx
New MOT
Tax until end of September
46k on the clock
Sunroof
No rust on the tops of the arches / around petrol cap
Toad ai606 alarm with microwave sensors
Engine
Fully converted from carb to injection
2.0 Mondeo engine (Approx 95k)
New timing belt and water pump 5k ago
Custom 2.0 Focus inlet port matched to ported and polished mondeo 2.0 throttle body
'TAXI' Pats ecu
Lightened flywheel
xr2i gearbox (long low gears and short high gears)
Escort rst LSD
Oil breather catch tank
Suspension
xr2i front roll bar
xr2i Front cross member
Spax vsx shocks and springs
OMP front strut brace
Custom rear strut brace
Twin anti roll bar rear beam
Brakes
Escort Cosworth front brakes
-Cosworth streetmaster pads (not fully bedded in yet)
-National grooved discs
Braided hoses front and rear
Mk2 Mondeo brake cylinder and servo
Misc
Leather 3 spoke wheel (Rs1800?)
5 spoke Wheels
Bad points
Small rust spots around the car, none that look that serious (this is a 22 year old car)
Some holes have been patched on the floor but they are not too bad
It has a crack on the windscreen from the bottom O/S edge to where the wiper sits and a chip at the top caused by stones on a track day.
There is a crease line along a door and the odd car park marks (never really bothered me)
It has had an attempted break in previously and both the doors have been levered back. The drivers doesn't seal 100% at the top edge (Might be sortable with some adjustment)
The power is around 140bhp and 150lb/ft of torque (RR done with a different exhaust) making this a quick car for what it is. It always manages to get past things it technically shouldn't down the straights on track days.
15 second @92mph was achieved at an airfield drag strip

Looking for £750.

Re: Fiesta 2.0 lx track car
Of course, it completes the package
I know, it's not an easy decision but one that makes sense unfortunately
