Ah, but then I've managed that 6.38 without you there
I think my new (now knackered!) gearbox is just way too long I'll do a proper job of whooping you next year

Long gears are good if you have a decent engine to pull them. Lol. We will win next time hands down, it's all been planned.

Well it was meant to be attached to a 2.0, but that never happened
And we'll see... What are the rules?

Dont be silly, the whole nitrous kit is working out about £180 using mostly new parts, plus gas. I can get you the details for the solenoids & injector if you want?

Nah, I think it'll make it more interesting!
It's not something I've ever considered really, although by no means do I think it's a bad thing, just that I'd probably use it way too much
What size jets are you using?
In all seriousness with mine, I'm probably going to drop the 2.0 in that I've had sitting around a while now. But I'd still like to see what the 1.8 will do with a shorter box. We'll see, I have a holiday to get out the way first

Re: 1.8 zetec Bonus Dirtbox Sleeper - 14/8 - Laughing gas
Going to start with a 50 shot which should give a 25hp boost. Should be a laugh and hopefully won't use it too much, refills for a bottle that size are 66 quid locally.

Just got to find another fuse holder and connect to the battery, quite a nice looking install I think

Re: 1.8 zetec Bonus Dirtbox Sleeper - 5/9 Nitrous oxide fitted
Nice.
Anymore info on the nitrous install - was it hard to fit? How does it all plumb in?
Something I have been looking at for my zetec also.

Re: 1.8 zetec Bonus Dirtbox Sleeper - 5/9 Nitrous oxide fitted
It's piss easy to fit. Nitrous feed comes from bottle, fuel comes from a shrarder addaptor which connects to the fuel pressure test point, and both solenoids go to sn injector which you fit in the crossover pipe. It's about 5 wires including a throttle switch so it only activates on wide open throttle. I can do more detailed pictures if you want?

Awesome, if you could get some more close up pictures and of the wiring which had to be incorporated that would be a massive help.
Is it the WON kit or one you assembled your self? Thw WON kits are quite expensive though iirc about £500ish.

Yes won kit but bought in bits. I got the bottle first second hand for 30 quid, and if you call WON and speak to trev he does second hand pulsoids with lifetime warranty still, my whole order from WON was £250. Will get more pics later

Got the bottle filled up today, 11lbs cost me £90 inc vat. Took it out and it flys. The 'Dynolicious' app on the iphone suggests the car is running 149bhp, but i need to fit cooler spark plugs (st170) as it looks like they are getting hot and burning all the crap off.
