Small update

Got the downpipe back today and fitted it on



Followed by the alternator, mainly because i suddenly panicked that the downpipe was going to foul it. All clear tho.

Thats nowhere near the alt.

Done a few more bits recently and starting to feel a bit more complete!

Bolted the fuel filter bracket in, the ERST item is massive!



Fitted the big aluminium radiator, and removable slam panel



And finally the pace escort charge cooler i picked up the other day. First boost hose went straight on, and only a little fudgekin around to fit the other. Back to being a proper sleeper with no stupid intercooler hanging out the front.



Also got the air filter in



Did a few more other jobs that i didn't take photos of. Gear linkage, alternator wiring, mounted ecu.

You may already have one but the FRS turbo I bought came with a fibreglass shield that screwed onto the radiator face of the turbo. It dropped my coolant temps substantially!

OEM item yeah. I'll try and get a pic tomorrow. You're missing the thin heatshield bracket for it though I think. There's 2 holes just below the flange joint.

Max. I was until last week going to hack the Front bumper to fit the massive toyosport intercooler I had

Little chargecooling update.....

Opting for one of these radiators to use as a pre rad. The one that comes as standard with the pace kit is a bit smaller, this looks quite good size to fit

Further down the line i am looking to fit a tank in the boot, approx 5 litres to give a much large cooling capacity, and help keep temps down. In the meantime i think im going to use a VAG header tank i've got kicking around in the garage
