muz the windows were of ebay, paid like £102 for them, is that a good price? i got them as i needed them regardless of price..
going to have to get a plate of perspex to put over the sliding door for when im commuting so it doesnt get stolen lol
carb boy.. i want your bonnet but you dont see me complaining!! haha
im going to do a big push with it this weekend so will be something like this weekend hopefully
im going to carpet the interior with acoustic cloth like they use on sub box's so it keeps a bit of noise out for the travel to work etc

I'll have to have a look for some. The windows on mine dont go down because of the Audi door handles. They get in the way

jonboisxr2i :great progress mate

its a horrible job.
Its mine isnt the neatist tbh as i couldnt be arsed removing all the piping and gear linkage etc so i painted between them. everywhere is coverd but i could have done it neater..
Main thing is its going to protect from rust in the future..

Re: Fiesta Carbon Track Car - Back From The Dead! HUUGGEE update
bit of a update, hammerited the inside of my car.. was going to spray it but couldnt be arsed as im going to but acoustic carpet down to try and keep the noise down and a bit of warmth in the winter
I think ive used about 2liters of hammerite on this car haha, wont be getting tin worm for at least 5years anyway! haha
hammerited all the arch's too, hammerite isnt the prittyist but it works
also got rid of the old rusty battery tray, nearly lost my hand with the angle grinder in the process llama
also finaly got some rs skirts
primerd
painted
i must admit i think im getting quitr handy with the spray gun now
Got some bonnet raisers as i had spare paypal money and thought id try them
will get a better pic when shes back on her wheels
also some braided brake lines
also got some AP 4pot calipers and rs2000 rear discs ill update later on them

Re: Fiesta Carbon Track Car - Back From The Dead! HUUGGEE update
Been reaaalllyy busy since last update,
so im going to update in a few sections to make it easier..
First a update on a few more parts ive received
Had to get some more brake lines as i found a hole in one of the exsiting copper lines
RS Mats to make it a bit more homely for day to day driving
Ap Calipers
Escort Cosworth front discs and rs2000 rear discs, some tool sent me a pair of black and a pair of silver going to send the silver ones back and get matching silver ones
Also painted my header tank with a texture paint, looks good now and is better than the dirty staind plastic from before
Also my hammerd black petrol tank and rear beam
And saving the best to last my £100 brand new never fitted B&M only ever been taking out the box to check

Re: Fiesta Carbon Track Car - Back From The Dead! HUUGGEE update
then we started preparing for paint and sorting the body work.
Spent from 3pm preping on saturday and we were spraying untill 2am!
some action shots of my mate at work
we called it a night at 2am
then when i went to check in the morning something had gone quite a bit wrong, even my mate didint know why it happend
now i know its only a track car but thats pritty bad
we tried to polish it out but no joy, so we stripped it all back on sunday and did a proper job rather than a quick blow in like we did before. Filed in as many of the little dints we could, smothed my wiper and lock seen as we were doing the work anyway and sorted a few little bits that were anoying me for a long while.
Then today monday we flatend it all again and repainted, only just finished at 11.30pm and its safe to say we have both had enough, fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong while its drying over night else i will be suicidle as i want my car back
will update pics tommorow
had a busy few weeks i tell thee!
