Re: Fiesta cosworth update engine.
looks good, dont keep meaning to be hipocritical but why you going for 7:1 comp? also why gt35 that's a 500-600hp turbo? what power you looking for realistically? 7:1 is 10 yrs old to low comp these days. After using a gt35 and using others now i woukd NEVER use one on a cossie again there useless! I bought a proper garatt one and it reached full boost at 5500. My new one bearing in mine my power hits 2.5bar at 4200.
Have you ported the head? As you'll struggle to flow more than 420 on std ports? If not the inlet gets ported a reasonable amount and exhaust just slightly. That will give you the best power curve.
Also I'd run a std exhaust cam if I were you.

Amazing work going on there, liking the colour, fairly similar in pictures to the mercury grey.
How much did you have to alter the sierra floorpan to fit in the fiesta shell?
Going to be a quality build when its done

Re: Fiesta cosworth update engine bay painted!
thanks for the replys peeps! progress has been non exsistant as some knob knocked me off my bike snapping my collar bone and ribs!! have had surgery on the collar so now have a nice 6 inch titanium plate and 5 screws! so just healing up now. also off unpaid from work so money is also non exsistant very annoying and insurance will take ages to come threw!!
tony the floorpan had to be shortened by 6 inches "more acurate in mm" but remember exactly what measurement! other than that thats pretty much it! bit out of the boot and bit off the front legs but nothing major at all. the hardest part is that the steering wheel in the fiesta is to the centre and the seat because of the tunnel is towards the door so everything is a bit off and was in the process of sorting this just before the accidnt!

Re: Fiesta cosworth. a few years later...
ok so quite a few years down the line. after nearly selling her and taking some time away. getting married and having a baby i decided enough was enough and she needed to be finished and deserved to be! she is 99.9% there. lots of changes but up and running and drove her for the 1st time last night albeit not far! as needs setting up properly! but if felt good. actually done have all of the photos i have taken. i have a few from the last few weeks. so this is how she is now. HOPEFULLY she will be at the shows next year
