fiesta diesel
I have a 1.8 diesel fiesta mk3.5 and was wondering since i braided the hoses and put blue colour piping over the other hoses can the air intake be replaced for a universal cone type if so will this upset my engine? as im not hoping and wishing for any preformance from it just looks?

A less restrictive cone type air filter means more dust into your pistons. This means that the engine wears faster. Also the filter will suck a lot of hot air making the car even slower
