Problem or technical question?

Fiesta Finesse 2002 'clicking' when key turned

Postby karlxi on Sat Jan 26, 2013 4:23 pm

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can help with this.

When I turn the key on my fiesta finesse 2002 I hear a 'clicking' sound... like the ignition isn't catching the engine or something. Has recently been serviced, the oil light comes on when this happens, but this is the only light.

Any help would be much appreciated,

Thank you

Karl

battery is dead by the sounds of it, get some jump leads on it and try again :)

+1 for battery or failing that, maybe starter is stuck. If the battery is fine try giving the starter a tap with a hammer.
Nothing to see here...
