Think my Dad's has Irmscher everything on it - only seen it once and I've never seen it out the garage.

As Ade touched on, this is not an official Ford Motor Co model, it's a dealer option. However, as the kit is full dealer fit, you keep the original warranty for the car.

As for stripes, the GT did indeed have stripes long before the Viper copied, and the Gulf Oil colours are some of the most famous and recognisable race colours of all time ;)

What are the chances of me getting a job there? what qualifications do you have? Any jobs going for next year? any placement schemes do you know? Would love to work for Ford for a year :)

Hmmm... If you have a relevant degree, you could apply via your uni, or in person yourself, but often they like you to have shown an interest long before the end of your degree...

Jobs depend on either doing an apprenticeship (unsuitable for you as you've already done a degree) or specific technical jobs coming open, but that's tough as internal promotions take priority...

I see your point about internal promotions. I've shown plenty of interest in Ford. I still have my Fiesta and my Ford Metro City don't I? :D I wondered if there were any schemes of any sort I could be looking for, or if it was merely a case of applying in a general sense and seeing what came back :-?

No real schemes, Ford do sponsor some students to fast track them through to certain jobs, but you'd be best off applying lots of times and generally pestering and annoying the HR departments until they give in ;) :D

I did actually.

Chevrolet were narrow minded and did not see the potential in the Cobra, whereas Ford did. Like they say the rest is history...
