Re: Fiesta mk2 - The Sleeper is back
as said on phone, looks good mate, maybe a edging strip round the outside a bit though?
as for relocating the radio, i still dont remember this bracket thing i made ya for doing so although was that one i knocked up quick when you came over with the missis once?
as for putting the radio in wehere the vents are, it wouldnt happen, there smaller on the mk2 than one the mk3, plus, to remove the centre vents is as near as damn it a dash out job, as there held in with self tappers from the rear

Re: Fiesta mk2 - The Sleeper is back
Today i took a trip to top gear exhausts and this is the end result
St170 exhaust manifold just fits.
i drew a rough picture of what i wanted, the guys at top gear have done a cracking job !
2 custom pipes come down from the st manifold then join before meeting the mid section. They relocated the hego at the rear with a new boss. Then modified the mid section pipe with a new flexy and flange.
The Engine breathes so much more freely now. It just doesnt want to stop revving when you give it the beans.
Even managed to fit the original St170 heat shield.
Very tight squeeze indeed.

Looking very nice and neat, the entire install is looking very good tbh.
I hope you can enjoy it this time, a properly installed 2.0l zetec in a mk2 is a LOT of fun I assure you
Gareth.

Re: Fiesta mk2 - New manifold
Sump plug adaptor with sender for oil temp guage
Oil pressure Sender plumbed in using a adaptor. Bit of a tight fit but i managed to work out the angle of the adaptor when tight to get the sender in.
Guages all plumbed in now

Re: Fiesta mk2 - New manifold
What spots are they? I just put some original carello 640 on the Ghia and I can't get over how much better the high beams are now, it's unreal. Although I can't tell if I like the look of them. Not that it matters as they'll be going back on the 1.4S once its mot'ed.

Love the spots. Whenever I see a MK2 without them I think they're missing. All MK2's should have spots IMO

Are they genuine Carello items? As they look a little large.
But I think they look better with them on especially with the XR2 kit as well.

Re: Fiesta mk2 - New manifold
They are just normal hella spot lamps but they mount on the proper ford brackets like the Carello lamps do.
The mk2 won't be seeing the xr2 body kit. I've thought about it but I prefer the car looking as standard as possible.
