Fill pipe with water, freeze it, then bend it

your a good bender!

the plumbers i know use an extra bit of metal between the pipe and bender to stop that happening.usually comes with the pipe bender and there are different sizes ,but we are talking about 14mm copper pipe to 22mm .

im sure you gotta inch your way along the bend while bending it? so your not focusing the pressure on one particular spot?

might be wrong though

Those benders will kink the pipe like that when you try to bend a big angle. We used to use them at work but now use a spring as you get a much better curve. I made my fuel lines out of the same copper but got it free from work :Q

done a bit more today - im waiting for more copper pipe to arrive so i can try my luck again with the pipe bender. Got the hang of it now and realised you need to bend it slowly to prevent it kinking.

Image

Brand new Fiesta mk2 cvh radiator specially made :)

Image

Trial fitting the brand new xr2 cvh radiator

Image

The next problem is the radiator bottom outlet faces the Head light. Where on the fiesta mk3 zetec rad the bottom outlet faces the water pump.
i cut up a old bottom fiesta rs turbo bottom rad hose and created a 90 degree bend

Image

Then i placed the fiesta zetec bottom rad hose on. I now need a hose joiner to finish it off. I am eventually going to get a hose made up by roose motorsport using this as a mock up.

Image
Image

Here is a picture of the fuse box ryan added to my current setup. this operates the fuel pump and basically does the job of priming it when you switch on ignition. It uses all original ford wiring.

Image

Neatly connects upto the original fuse box :D

Escort mk5 zetec top rad hose cut either end and fitted. New fan switch fitted :)

Image

Modified fiesta mk3 zetec bottom hose. 35mm alloy hose joiner installed between and clamped up.

Image
Image

Special delivery from roose motorsport this afternoon.
90 degree bend 16mm flurolined silicone hose to go from the tank to the pump. the straight bit i installed last week has kinked in middle restricting flow to pump. so once i cut this one down a tad it will be perfect fit :)

Image

Fancy new fuel filter connectors from ford, these basically connect the rubber flexy line from the metal feed pipe to the filter. Then from Filter to the Feed pipe to the Fuel rail.

Not long to go now ! :D

If your going to drive it back tomorrow make sure that crossover pipe is secure, if it falls off on a zetec it just wont run, and obviously you need the maf connected.

Looks very nice tho!
