Fiesta mk4 1.8 Zetec 16v for sale

sadly the times come for me to part with my long term project, many have seen it round the forum or at car shows including Fiesta in the park

now im not going to blow sun shine up your ass it aint perfect, and needs some work

how it drives is an issue, its a VERY raw car, more suited for a track, its got a light but juddery clutch (if you aint used to it) the throttle is very firm/sticky

the tyres are the wrong size and are too big, they hit the arches easily over bumps/overloading theyre 195/50/15's it needs 45 profiles

the front bumper needs a respray and the mounting on the drivers arch is knackered so its currently 'hanging' off
idealy it needs a replacement bumper

needs a new exhaust mounting rubber near the flexy (why its hanging a bit low atm)

theyres a missing rear antiroll bar (mk3 arb conversion,, see spec list)

the shell is a bit rusty, the inner sills have been repaired and welded, and a hole in the sills (door shut) drivers side has been plated, but sadly was only a quick job to get it through the mot

the 1.8 zetec conversion has been done right and is solid, ive personally been driving it for 4-5months doing 4000miles in it since i finished the convserion at the start of march, its running on mk3 Si 1.6 engine loom thats spliced intot he mk4 engine loom, both original 1.3 ECU and the zetec 1.8 non pats ECU's are needed to run the engine, it wouldnt even crank without either, the 1.8 ecu still needs a proper mounting spot, atm its positioned in the engine bay at bit of a bodge held in by the brake servo and chassis

as you may know mk3 and mk4 fiestas use very different engine mounts, the mk3.5 Si zetec mounting plate has been welded tot he suspension turret and the mk4 one has been removed

In my idea this car would bmake an excellent trackcar, it has the power with more potential, the handling, the raw feel about it, as it certainly aint fit for concours as it is
