fiesta mk4/5 mirrors vs escort mk6

Does anybody know if escort mk6 door mirrors are actually identical to the fiesta ones? They look to be very close from what I can tell?

The base plates are different and pretty sure they won't fit, but the base plates can be swapped. But I'm not sure if the mounts on the escort are the same.
