Fiesta mod newbie - performance advice wanted
I've had a mk4 fiesta 1.25 for a while now (my 2nd car, first was a mk3 fiesta) and I recently just got interested in modding it - with particular attention to performance rather than that good old rude boy look.
Its 1.25 can't really afford a bigger engine due to insurance costs, but I'm interesting in squeezing that lil extra poke out of an already quite poky engine for its size.
I've started off my getting myself an induction kit (RaidHP) which should do something.
Is there anything else I can do?
Budget = £200 or so
Nothing too major, eg ground out ports/nos kit

release the peace
gotta be de-cat add another 3-5bhp and a cat back give another 2 or so will cost about 200 and if you wanted to do on ultimate cheap get decat done and just get a back box as standard boxes are like speghetti junction in relation to flow and a straight through is obviously straight through ebay 30 quid for alloy back box and if you dont live too far away from rotherham in south yorkshire i know someone who could hook you up with a decat pipe for another 50 so 80quid and you got your at least 5bhp gain which i know it sounds daft but thats actually good power for money and its the same guy who does the alloy boxes and decats sound the shnizzle as well really sweet have had em on twin turbo supras and scoobys the lot and they all sound sweet as
dont hate the playa hate the game

To be blatantly honest there is no mod within your budget that will give you more "poke" as you say from most engines let alone a 1.25. I'd recommend living with it for now and saving money and your No Claims Bonus until you've got enough to move up to a better Fiesta.
P.S. remember i said to a better "Fiesta". Now don't disappoint us and go Jap or French.
