Fiesta MR2????

Was chatting to Simon about MR and roadster type cars and thinking, why haven't ford ever made a decent MR drive car other then the GT40 and GT?

Well, not one to be put down I think I'll make one of my own once the cabbie is finished as the next project. How about Mk6 fez with Ford WRC kit and Clio V6 style side pods and a mid mounted cossie lump driving the rear wheels? :Q

So my question is, any know of any gearboxes that would be sutible for a transverse mounted cossie lump? :?
