Fiesta Rear end stability
so many moans about the fiesta rear end, being twitchy and not handling nicely, and people change to ZS rear beam and fit rear strut braces, but does it actually cure it?
is the rear beam the problem? is it a chassis prob?
i seem to remember Gaz mentioning it in his mag feature?
anyone any input?

It is the Rear beam mate. Some people have had extra welding done on it to stiffen it up more.
However note that Too stiff is bad! (aches or sommet )

I wonder if there is a difference between the mk3.5 and mk3? I have never had any problems with my back end, its never once slipped out, it always goes at the front which seems the easiest to control....
Anyone any ideas?

your not going fast enough or driving aggressvely as ive had my back end out many a time , mostly due to lift off oversteer on roundabouts. Its all good fun . I will be getting a zetec s rear beam at some point but ive got a few other things i want first
a must see lol > http://www.rs1800.clara.net/damos_ass.avi

mine seems to handle pretty well, i know i dont exactly have big power but going into roundabouts at "stupid" speeds and going right through them many a time is always fun.
