I didn't put my car on for fear of having the lowest BHP......seems I need not of worried :bonkers:

I found Wayne's orange squash analogy for the air & fuel ratio very helpful

heeman10 :
Carbonboy67 :My ST made 203.6 bhp so a bit down on power, but it pulls well I know that :)

I just watched your video Shaun - I think I see the Inlet Air Temp probe swinging around on the front of the grille. If that is indeed what I see, the recorded inlet temperature will have been lower than the actual inlet temp (should be in the airbox, or at least in the entry mouth to the airbox), and the correction factor will have taken that into account. With cold inlet air, an engine will make more power, so the computer may have over-compensated a little because the temp probe was out in the cold air, right in front of the fan, as opposed to being tucked down in the airbox where the air was probably 5-10C warmer. Just a possible explanation for a slightly lower power figure than you were expecting :)

Thanks mate, I did wonder what it was doing there tbh, but I'm just a simple plumbing and heating eng. so didn't want to say anything

I did want to see more tbh, the torque figure was down as well to what I was expecting, on the road, the car feels really strong.

Just to put it in simple terms so you'd understand it.

Just to update, mine has its power back! :D :D Not proven on a dyno yet but it's definitely a huge improvement!

Got an almost new maf sensor and coupled it to a k&n banana pipe for a better connection and used the cleaning kit on the air filter. She goes like stink and induction kit is even louder than it was
