Unmarked Recaro interior (with original squab insert)
Original Ford stero head unit
2 sets of keys
Autowatch Alarm/immobiliser
Battery tray /Scuttle panel and all the usual areas for rust are all ok
For sale is my excellent condition White Fiesta RS Turbo, I really dont want to sell her but
I have joined an employee car club with the intention of attending track days with my co-workers
and this little Turbo is just way too nice to be used for that kind of thing. So I will sell her on
and put the money towards another F-RST which can be abused without guilt.
I found this car through the owners fourm a couple of months ago so heres the full story before I purchased the car.
The Original owner purchased this car for his wife, brand new from the Ford dealer "Currie Motors" in 1990 (I have the original bill of sale and the old version V5).
She used the car very rarely to a from the shops up untill 2003 putting approx 66k on the clock.
In the first year of ownership she damaged the Nearside front wing, it was replaced by the Ford dealer, spot welded and shows the date stamp of 1991.
It was serviced regulary by "Currie Motors" until they closed down, it was then maintained by their local garage.
At some point along the way it also had the petrol cap panel repaired but he coulnt rember when.
In 2003 when the Tax and MOT ran out the owner declared it as sorned and amazingly it then sat on his driveway for the next 9 years under a cover.
He said that he often went outside and turned the car over, let it warm up and down etc but it never went back on the road.
He then advertised it on the owners forum and I picked it up.
I trasported the car back to my house and soon realised that it was a little diamond in the rough!
To get it back up running properly I have completed the following:-
Brand new Cam belt
New Water pump
New aux belt
Full set of new Tappets
Oil and Filter
New spark plugs
Four replacement tyres (part worn)
Knew battery
After that I took it for an MOT so they could tell me what else needed doing, which basically found all the brake cylinders were siezing and some welding was needed
on the back sills (only small patchs).
So all four corners have been stripped down cleaned and flushed through with new Brake fluid and rubber hoses and the rust cut out and welded up.
On the retest she was issed a new MOT, with the tester commenting it was in great condition.
Since then have cut and polished the bodywork and the pictures speak for themselves.
The bad bits and I am being very picky in places:-
2 very small spots of rust breaking through on the roof near the arial.
The fuel cap panel repair is showing its age a little, you can see where the paint edges are.
very small tear on the drivers right side seat bolster about an inch long
Headlining looks worn but not sure how? maybe the climate conditions or being parked outside effected it.
One of the bumper lamps is cracked.
The Ford replaced wing paintwork looks tatty
The boot lock had an attempted break in so different key to open the tailgate
On the underside of the bonnet near the latch stricker is a patch of rust
3 out of 4 alloys are good, 1 of them has some bronze looking marks on.
Obviously despite the pictures making it look immaculate - it is not, the bodywork does have the odd chip and mark on it etc but overall a really good car.
Priced to sell at
£3200 ono

Re: Fiesta RS Turbo ** 1 Previous Owner & Genuine 67000 mls **
I used to own a F-RST back in my 20's and loved every min of it! Now being older and part of my Employers car club I wanted a fun car to take on track days etc so memories of my old one prompted me to join on here a buy one again.
However after finding one on here, a lot of people seem to think its too much of a good example to abuse, hence its up for sale for someone who is looking for more of a classic ownership .... not strip it out, slam it, boost it up and race it!!!
Going to advertise for a while and if I get no real interest il just keep it for the above.

Car is now gone! picked up yesturday so I can now reveal my profits!!
Paid £1500 as non runner
Spent £400 getting her working again and through the MOT.
Sold for £3000
Probably could have got a bit more than 3k but my phone was ringing off the hook non stop as soon as I listed on Ebay. It was hard too tell who was going to muck me around and who was genuine so I went with a safe deal
