fiesta rs turbo black

Postby simon turbo on Tue May 04, 2010 8:22 am

Hi this is my first post on here , i have just brought a metallic black fiesta rs turbo after selling my escort rst i had to get another fiesta as they are so much more fun to drive . I looked around for a bit and came a cross this nice j reg .
it has no engine mods exept a dump valve and a stainless exhaust, it has clear rear lights and front indicators, momo alloys, rear decals removed and a turbo timer apart from that it is standard.
I have got origianl 3 spokes, standard rear lights and indicators to go on and new decals for the boot.
just need green stripes ,top boost hose, and spark plug lead holder bit and it will be perfect.

think it will stay standard just lower it by 30mm and then polish it and get it ready for shows next year if it is good enough to get on any stands :-?

just a quick up date i have not sold it ,
put it through its m.o.t and past with no problems i then when out and brought a few cans of hammerite hammered black and have nearly painted the whole underneath i will put photos up when done but looks good.
i have been buying lots of neew bits from http://www.ywkparts.co.uk which supply new ford parts for fiesta, escort, sierra and no...
I have also got some spax adjustables with 60mm lowering springs from a chap on here cant wait to fit them. :)
will put some more pics up soon

looks lovely, think you should ahve it lowered 40mm, 60 is overkill imo

and refit the standard Ford badge on the boot, the later style one (darkblue) doesnt suit it at all

quick updated no pics yet.
i have been buying blue boost samcos which i am waiting to arrive today and fitted a k& n induction filter. The car has now been lowered and looks very good. I also brought a 3 gauge holder which fits where the stereo goes (saves me buying a stereo) i also now have new boost and volt smoked gauges just need to get an oil temp one to match.
I went to the local scrap yard and found a xr3i cab with full efi rs turbo running gear the turbo had gone so i found out the cost of some bits and striped it down there and then hoping to find uprated cam, piston etc but it was all standard so i had the rocker cover and so nuts and bolts going back to get the manifold and pipes for a t3 conversion. I the end i got a mk4 fiesta wiper arm, frst rocker cover a samco hose all for £5 .
Next day i cleaned up the rocker cover and gave it a nice coat of ford paint so i have this to go on soon when i get some stainless rocker bolts. Also brake res cover turned up and a new battery cover and a baileys oil breather pot which was a bargin of flebay! oh and a really clean header tank from jano at oddkidcreations.
Im going from total standard to chrome every where with black rocker and full blue hoses hope it will look ok.
may put so bonnet raisers on as well,
Think i might just keep all my standard ford hoses as they and still have writing on them and are in good condition time to find a big box for the loft!
will get pics up soon. :D
