Fiesta RS Turbo Diesel

Postby Mick_RS on Sun Jun 24, 2012 11:12 pm

hey guys, new to fiesta turbo, on rsoc and passionford also seeing whats happening aswell, came across this little car 2 weeks ago and had to buy it, my first ford and perfectly inlove, immaculate 1.3 shell with a 1.8td endura (top mounted cooler) full and genuine kit, plus recaro interior. i am really pleased with the car throughout, electric windows work perfectly, sunroof is watertight, everything actually works.. got a few plans for it such as .... 16" Mondeo Si Wheels, New Exhaust 4" Outward Rolled... and a few other little sublte modifications, let me know what you all think of my little purchase, opinions, thoughts are welcome...

I really like that nice colour. Take it they are Escort GTI wheels that are on it at min? If it was me i'd only get a 3" exhaust at max i'm not a big fan of massive exhausts i think a nice 3" rolled out would look nice on that.

That is really nice! It looks really straight too in the photos.

The new wheel is awful and archaic IMO :D

cheers lads inlove with the wee motor like, not got a full licence just now i was a bad boy and got banned for 2 years lol so mrs has left me with her corsa c to valet for her so shes driving it just now hehe, you will most prolly see it at any scottish cruise as thts what i do and run.. ' central scotland cruisers '

yeah jonny its relatively standard, its quite nippy although 100mph is prolly its top speed in fairness, but its still a good runner, think a little service is in the pipeline very soon and yes dave i am thinking of putting it to front mount as the top mounted cooler dosnt look good hehe, but right now i dont wanna flag attention with the coppers seeing as its down as a 1.3 hehe... got a battery cover on the car just now bud but thanks for the offer, looks pretty good :D

And yes dude (gmc ) i have heard of that name man, a friend of mines adie luff mentioned it to me also that this was his aswell...

overall am proud of the car, yeh just dont come across these often

think i may pop into friends at sitech and see what i can do about the cooler, as i myself dont know much about the engine side of it... would look pretty cool with a big shiney intercooler hanging out of it like a kebab hingin oot a drunk on a saturday night :O)

i have been told ambers aswell but i am very unsure as to what look it would give it

i was also thinking about the coloured strips? i know green is turbo and blue is n/a what colour can i give a ' RS TurboDiesel ??? '

Dunno, will be at the Bridge of Allan ford show on Sunday, so it depends how knackered I am after that, might talk my mate into it in his focus st, I'm not really much of a "cruiser" these days, grown out of it tbh! Lol

I would do it!

I like your car, it reminds me a bit off an Xr2i 16v (RS180-spec), which had the same color. I had about 12 years ago, i never should have sold it.
