Re: Fiesta RS Turbo Diesel
The more i hear that the 'gingercators' make this car what it is the more i want to keep them
need to do a few more things for the car just subtle modifications... under the bonnet there will be a new intercooler front mounted instead of top mounted as it is just now... think its about 70bhp... but been told the engine can whack 110bhp.....
but i am inlove with this car....

Re: Fiesta RS Turbo Diesel
intercooled models are 90bhp, non IC ones are 75bph
ive seen 112bhp from just wacking the fueling and boost up
so intercooler will deffinately help if is bigger and better located

BAD NEWS FOR THE RSTD
Took a spin out and about my town, driving along ..... next minute a bang more of a snap, and a chokin noise... stopped ... tried to turn back over... sounded like a starter
towed the car up the road, and closer inspection
TIMING BELT HAS SNAPPED!
1.8 TD ENDURA
could anyone give me help and advice as to what i could do ? replace belt? or any bent valves? or replace engine?
thanks

Until you strip the engine You won't know the damage. If your lucky, and I mean very lucky you might get away with a new belt, sadly that rarely occurs. A new engine shouldn't be too much though tbh, and would be the cheapest option just make sure the replacement has a new belt and is a good one. Hope its good luck for you in fixing it bud...

Re: Fiesta RS Turbo Diesel
I think those diesel engines have 2 timing belts
You may be lucky and only replace a few valves.
More than likely you will be replacing the engine cheaper than fixing the one in there.
Btw very nice looking fiesta
Amber's have made this look the bees knees
Loving The deep blue
