Fiesta RS Turbo (J reg, Black) - SOLD
The time has come to sell my 1991 Fiesta RS Turbo.
I bought the car as a weekend toy in 2006 and now after 6 years it’s time to sell due to my impending move to Australia.
I bought the car from a Ford employee and member of the RSOC who maintained it regardless of cost.
I am the second owner of the car and I have continued this philosophy. I have serviced (yearly) and maintained it myself carrying out work as necessary, keeping all receipts of parts and work done etc...
Please do not expect a concourse car, it is a 21 years old. Whilst it has been garaged and looked after all its life it gets used and as a result has picked up a few scratches, some dings and stone chips.
The paintwork in my opinion for a car of this age is in great condition. Performance wise, the engine is quiet, runs smoothly, boosts as it should and there are no discernible smoke, bangs or rattles.
The interior is in brilliant condition, there is a mark on the dash where the previous owner had a smelly thing, drivers bolster tube has a slight nick in it and the near side rear side card has come un-stuck from its backing in one point. Everything is standard as it should be.
To inspect the car for rust I took up the carpet looked at the arches and sills there is nothing visible to the eye. I have had the filler cap surround repaired professionally in my ownership as it started to bubble up. It has been fine since.
I have recently serviced the car (oil, oil filter, spark plugs, coil pack, HT leads), replaced the valve stem seal, water pump, tensioner and timing belt.
The car has a few modifications from standard, these include:
• ITG air panel filter.
• Mongoose turbo back exhaust (I have original square back-box)
• JEK alloy radiator ( I have original which will need to be repaired)
Details as are as follows:
Mileage – 87300
MOT – September 2012
TAX – 29/02/2012
Tread – 5mm+ (Pirelli P6000)
The car was also featured I Performance Ford magazine December 2009 issue in the Fiesta RS Turbo buying guide.
If you are looking for an honest straight and clean car, that you can jump in and drive away, continue to enjoy and look after, this one is for you.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or what more photos etc…
I'm in no rush to sell, time wasters will have to deal with my dad... lol.

That's lovely - would be sorely tempted if I hadn't recently bought my Mk2 XR2. Good luck with the sale and the move!
